Holidays in Albena Bulgaria
Some 32 kilometres from Varna, Albena stretches along the Northern part of Varna Bay.
Albena is the newest of the three resorts along the Varna coastline, the other being the smaller and oldest resort of Drouzhba. It boasts no less than 7 kilometres of beach and, like the better known Golden Sands, offers a wide range of sporty beach activities, a range of restaurants and other night activities. Although the temptation to spend your days relaxing on the beach or enjoying the beach activities is very strong, there are some very interesting historical places to visit nearby. Obrochoishte has a very old fortress dating back to Ottoman times and the village of Kranevo has the remains of an ancient fortress used in Roman times and the middle ages. Kranevo is also well known for its natural mineral springs.
Albena villas and off plan property can be purchased at very reasonable prices, some with magnificent sea views just a few hundred metres from the beach. With average temperatures in the summer between 23 and 27 degrees and an average water temperature from between 17 and 25 degrees the chances are that
whenever you go during the summer months you are more than likely to have good weather, something that is always left to chance when holidaying along the English coast. There is in fact an average of 240 hours of sunshine along this coastline between May and September and more than 300 in July and August. Whether you purchase alone or perhaps together in a family venture, years of warm, pleasurable holidays in your beachside apartment or villa in Albena Bulgaria
could be yours. Many families have in the past completely changed their lifestyles by purchasing businesses along the Southern Spanish coast; the opportunity exists here for equally minded people to do the same as more and more people are being attracted to Varna bay for their holidays.
